Stock up your freezer with our premium barley-finished beef, raised the way nature intended. Our cattle are all-natural, with no hormones or antibiotics ever, and spend their lives out on open range—not in feedlots. They are finished on grass paddocks and are offered barley pellets twice per day, supporting both animal health and soil regeneration.

Our barley pellets are made from the byproducts of pearled barley (the parts people don’t consume) and are locally sourced from farmers here on the Palouse.

Pricing:
The total cost for a whole beef share typically ranges from $2,718.75–$3,081.25.

  • Price is based on $7.25 per pound of hanging (carcass) weight
  • Our animals generally average 375–425 pounds hanging weight
  • Hanging weight is an estimate, so final cost may vary slightly
  • Final price includes all butcher and processing fees

Estimated Take-Home Amount & Cost:

  • Customers typically receive approximately 60–65% of the hanging weight as packaged beef
  • This equals about 225–276 pounds of take-home meat
  • Your estimated final cost per pound (take-home weight) is approximately $13.00/lb depending on final yield and cut choices

Freezer Space Requirements:

  • A whole beef generally requires about 16–20 cubic feet of freezer space
  • For reference, this is roughly the size of a large chest freezer

  • You receive a wide variety of premium cuts (steaks, roasts, and ground beef) at one average price
  • Many individual cuts—especially steaks—would typically cost significantly more per pound at the grocery store

How It Works:

  1. Reserve your animal with a $500 non-refundable deposit
  2. Your beef is processed our USDA butcher facility
  3. Final weight is determined after processing
  4. You’ll receive your final invoice based on actual hanging weight
  5. Remaining balance is due before pickup or delivery

Deposit & Payment:

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your share
  • Deposit is applied toward your total balance
  • If you prefer to pay your deposit by cash or check, please email us to reserve your share

Important Notes:

  • Final take-home weight will vary depending on processing choices (boneless vs. bone-in cuts, trim level, etc.)
  • We’re happy to guide first-time bulk beef customers through the process and answer any questions

Delivery & Pickup Options:

  • There are additional fees for delivery or shipping if you would like your beef share brought directly to your door
  • Delivery and shipping costs vary based on location and will be calculated separately
  • Pricing varies based on distance, order size, and delivery method
